After getting the assignment for the new Explore Minnesota Tourism campaign, we realized that their social presence on Instagram was non-existent. We hired three of instagrammers to show off the state. In the first month, Explore Minnesota Tourism's following increased exponentially, going from a handful to thousands.
:15 TV spots were created for broadcast and used as pre-roll to showcase Minnesota's great variety of activities, locations and events visitors—and Minnesotans—could go see and enjoy.

Best Buy Black Friday
Black Friday is retail’s biggest day of the year. To stand out from all the other competitors, we wanted to show that Best Buy’s Black Friday Doorbusters featured the latest high-tech equipment and gear—not the cheap socks, candles or useless nicknacks other retailers were offering. So we used takeovers to connect with customers and help Best Buy have their best Black Fridays in years.

To help WinField kick off their new "Be Greater" brand messaging, we designed a brochure that inspired everyone from the corporate office to the agronomists (who work with co-ops) to the farmers to not just do better, but to Be Greater.
Duluth Trading Company: Flannel City Faceoff
Duluth Trading Company makes clothes for the hardest working people in America. In other words, people who wear flannel. So we created "The Flannel City Face Off", a bracket style site with GIFs representing each of sixteen hardworking, flannel-clothed cities, from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine. Proud, hardworking citizens everywhere were encouraged to share their vote on Facebook to help their Flannel City come out on top.

Being an avid cyclist, I couldn't wait to help the state of Minnesota rightfully declare it's love for bicycling. With more bike commuters per capita, thousands of miles of trails and the largest bike sharing program in America, Minnesotans have plenty to brag about. And in the end, the campaign united bikers of all kinds and helped position Minnesota as the “Bike Friendly State.”
To showcase the state as a premier biking destination, we created a brand video that we posted on PedalMN.com and distributed to bike blogs and travel sites.
As a part of Pedal Minnesota’s “The Bike Friendly State” campaign, bus shelters were converted to tune-up stations—complete with built-in bike stands, air compressors, tools and tips. On weekends, friendly mechanics provided free tune-ups and helmet fittings.
We created Out of Home that celebrated all the reasons Minnesota loves biking by and reached out to new or infrequent riders, encouraging them to get out and ride.
Pedal MN/Twin Six social partnership
To get enthusiast Minnesota cyclists involved with the brand, we partnered with the internationally-known, Minneapolis-based cycling apparel company, Twin Six. After mocking up Pedal MN tees, I was happy to see one of my designs (with the help of Sean Cooley) was brought out to vote with other created by Colle McVoy designers, art director and writers on Facebook to see which designs would get produced for sale.
The design is the Martin Olav Sabo bridge – a famous pedestrian only suspension bridge on the Minneapolis Midtown Greenway.
One of the world's most storied brands, Purina had been split apart into multiple species groups and business units. We helped bring the Purina brand back together and created their first master brand campaign in more than half a century.

We created a video to showcase the Purina Animal Nutrition Center and its innovative achievements. The video was used online to give people a closer look at Purina's commitment to animal nutrition.
ArtCrank is a poster party for bike people. The brainchild of Charles Youel, ArtCrank has been enlisting great designers to create bike posters at pop-up art shows around the world since 2007. Being a road cyclist, I was honored to get the opportunity to create a poster for the show.
Taco Johns, headquartered in Cheyenne, WY, needed a new campaign and they had one request: No more cowboys. We went ahead and assumed they meant human cowboys, so we showed them Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey, and they loved him. And so did their franchisees. And so did their customers.
Johnsonville Brats is a proud Wisconsin tradition. To help announce their arrival at Lambeau Field, another proud Wisconsin tradition, we created this spot that ran during Packer games, and on the Lambeau jumbotron. The first time it ran every single Johnsonville Brat sold out before halftime.

MN Film Board
Minnesota isn't seen as a go-to location for film productions. The MN Film Board wanted to change that, so we created this campaign showcasing the potential storylines available in locations around the state.
UMADD needed a way to connect with new university students to help educate them about the dangers of binge drinking in a unique and eye-catching way.
